Continuous transfer from relaxor to normal ferroelectric phase transition is found in Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3-SrTiO3-PbTiO3 if concentration of PbTiO3 increases. The relaxor properties in NBT solid solutions are described by the power law and Vogel-Fulcher relationship, and concentration dependence of the relevant parameters is discussed. All sequential steps of transfer from relaxor to normal ferroelectric phase transition are found in Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3-SrTiO3-PbTiO3 if concentration of PbTiO3 increases. The relaxor properties in Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3-SrTiO3-PbTiO3 solid solutions are described by the power law and Vogel-Fulcher relationship. Concentration dependence of the relevant parameters is discussed. Stability of relaxor and ferroelectric phases is discussed by analyzing behaviour of critical electric fields.
Methodisches zur bestimmung der viskositätszahl (staudinger-index) von cellulosen und cellulosenitraten

An einem groseren Material von Cellulosenitraten wird die Konzentrationsabhangigkeit der spezifischen Viskositat im Hinblick auf die Reproduzierbarkeit der Einzelmessung und der Extrapolation nach c = 0 (bzw. ηsp = 0) untersucht. Es zeigt sich, das der eigent. liche Mesfehler, der im Mittel weniger als ± 2 % betragt, gelegentlich von einer erheblichen Inhomogenitat des Materials uberlagert wird. Als sicherstes Verfahren zur Bestimmung von [η] erwiest sich die Extrapolation der ηspc-Werte von mindestens vier Konzentrationen nach ηsp = 0, wobei ηsp far jede Konzentration aus vier Einzelmessungen gemittelt wird. Optical tweezing electrophoresis of isolated, highly charged colloidal spheres

Abstract We report on a novel optical tweezing experiment measuring the electrophoretic mobility μ of highly charged spherical particles suspended in water at volume fractions Φ≤2×10 −7 . At deionised conditions μ =2.5×10 −8 m 2 V −1 s −1 , it decreases further upon increasing the salt concentration c . We compare our data to measurements at larger Φ, where generally much larger μ and a qualitatively different dependence on the salt concentration are observed. To characterise the dependence on Φ we performed measurements at no added salt. Viskosimetrische molekulargewichtsbestimmung von cellulose in kupfer-äethylendiamin

Cellulose lost sich in Kupferathylendiamin („Cuen”) schneller und ist gegen Luftsauerstoff betrachtlich unempfindlicher als in Cuoxam. Im Gegensatz zu amerikanischen und franzosischen Arbeiten wurde festgestellt, das Losefahigkeit und Viskositatszahl weitgehend unabhangig von der Zusammensetzung des Komplexes und seiner Kupfermolaritat sind. Es wird eine Methode angegeben zur einfachen Herstellung einer Kupferathylendiaminlosung. Die viskosimetrischen Polymerisationsgr adbestimmungen von Cellulose in Cuen konnen unter Anwesenheit von Luft im Ostwald viskosimeter durchgefuhrt werden. Abstract The effect of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) on the reactivity in the base-catalyzed pathway for the rearrangement in water of some ( Z )-hydrazones of 3-benzoyl-1,2,4-oxadiazoles ( 1b – f ) into the relevant triazoles ( 2b – f ) was investigated, finding different behavior as a function of the proton concentration. ESIMS and 1 H NMR data evidence the formation of host – guest complexes. The whole of the experimental and calculated (MM2) data enabled us to draw some intriguing conclusions concerning the influence of the structures of the substrates and the nature of the formed host – guest complexes on the real site of the reaction.
